Imagine sipping delicious wines surrounded by gorgeous, lush plants – does that sound like you’re in Napa Valley, or maybe a cruise to the Caribbean? Well you can take a break from New England winter while roaming from winery to winery in the warm, glowing greenhouses of Russells in Wayland. Smell the beautiful flowers, shed your winter coat, taste some wonderful food, and try out the excellent wines of New England wineries.
Legislation allowing Massachusetts Farm Wineries to sell at agricultural events was passed in August of 2010. Since then, seeing farm wineries at farmers markets has become more common, as towns learn the application process and approve licenses for state farm wineries. In celebration, Russell’s is having their 2nd Annual Massachusetts Farm Wineries Day @ the Wayland Winter Farmers Market on January 28th.

Enjoy a sampling from Massachusetts wineries. Sales of wines by the bottle also available. Plenty of delicious breakfast and lunch foods to be enjoyed in a lush plant-filled greenhouse.
The market runs weekly on Saturdays from 10 AM to 2 PM through March 10.
